Before joining Premier Sotheby's International Realty, Robert held senior leadership positions in New York, London and Charlotte. Most recently, as Managing Director, Head of International Banks in North America at Wells Fargo Bank, he oversaw relationships with international banks and supranational organizations and worked closely with CEOs, treasurers and senior executives across banking, asset management and capital markets. Having lived and worked in London for several years, Robert holds dual citizenship in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Robert's real estate experience spans three decades and includes investment, development and historic renovation. His projects have involved waterfront and inland property acquisition and assemblage, subdivision planning and entitlement, road and infrastructure development, and custom-home design and construction. This combination of financial expertise and hands-on experience gives him a discerning perspective on property valuation, development potential, investment risk and the many factors that shape a successful transaction.
Robert's personal interests reflect the adventurous spirit and international outlook that have shaped his life. He has traveled extensively throughout the world, and enjoys cooking, fishing, surfing, boating and other outdoor pursuits. An experienced sailor, he has competed in offshore yacht racing, cruised the Eastern Seaboard from Florida to Nantucket and crossed the Atlantic.
